🎭 Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and guide patrons to their seats
  • Check and scan tickets at entrances
  • Provide venue information (restrooms, emergency exits, refreshments)
  • Maintain tidiness in the foyer and auditorium
  • Perform safety checks (seating, lighting, lost property)
  • Handle patron queries and complaints professionally
  • Assist guests with special needs and mobility issues
  • Be ready for emergency evacuations and health & safety procedures
  • Collaborate with the Front of House team, security, and cleaning staff
  • Promote upcoming shows and events

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
  • Prior customer service experience preferred (but not essential)
  • Languages: Fluent in at least two of the following – English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa
  • Friendly, reliable, and punctual
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexible to work weekends and evenings
  • Interested in arts and culture is a plus
