🎯 Purpose of the Role
- The Department of Local Government, Western Cape, is seeking a competent and motivated individual to provide effective administrative support for GG transport services within the department.
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
- A valid driving licence (Code B or higher)
- 📝 Note: Persons with disabilities that restrict driving abilities but have reasonable access to transport may also apply.

🔧 Key Performance Areas
- Maintain the GG vehicle fleet and parking area
- Inspect GG vehicles and facilities
- Manage issuing, receiving, and hiring of GG vehicles
- Investigate misuse of vehicles and compile related reports
- Handle general GG administration, including:
- Licensing
- Odometer and logbook tracking
- Payment processing
- Traffic fine management
- Administer accidents and losses related to GG vehicles
- Conduct information sessions with staff on vehicle usage policies
