Minimum 3 years of related experience in a laundry or hygiene-related environment

Problem-solving related to laundry equipment and workflow

Verbal and non-verbal communication

Ability to train and motivate staff

Understanding of safety and hygiene standards in a laundry setting

🧾 DUTIES:
-
Supervise operation and function of laundry machines
-
Oversee loading/unloading and sorting of linen
-
Ensure laundry is cleaned and handled per safety protocols
-
Monitor equipment condition and cleanliness
-
Identify linen that needs mending and oversee its return
-
Maintain accurate linen records and registers
-
Allocate daily duties, develop rosters and supervise staff
-
Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards
