CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2025
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Stipend: R9,000 per month

REQUIREMENTS
-
Grade 12 qualification
-
Civil Engineering students with S4 who need in-service training (P1/P2)
-
Completed S4 Civil Engineering students with no experience are also encouraged to apply
-
Preference will be given to student technicians from Mbhashe Local Municipality as part of youth employment and capacity-building
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
-
Create detailed construction plans and blueprints using CAD software
-
Assist on construction sites to monitor progress and budget adherence
-
Conduct site visits and ensure regulatory compliance
-
Liaise with contractors, government officials, and stakeholders
-
Identify and resolve technical issues on site
-
Compile monthly progress reports
-
Ensure quality control and environmental regulation compliance
-
Manage timelines, budgets, and resources
