Overview:
The Thandulwazi Maths and Science Academy, established by St Stithians College in 2006, is seeking qualified and experienced ECD Facilitators to join the 2026 Thandulwazi Teacher Development Programme. These roles are contract-based and will commence on 1 February 2026.
Key Requirements:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Family and Consumer Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related fields.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in the ECD sector.

Knowledge: Understanding of developmentally appropriate educational practices.
-
Skills: Strong oral and written communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and organizational ability.

Ability: Comfort with integrating education technology.
Preferred Additional Requirements:

Expertise in promoting development across various domains such as language and literacy, physical development, social-emotional growth, creative arts, science, and mathematics.

Experience in conducting assessments and using programme quality rating scales.

Experience or education in adult learning.

Proof of registration with SACE, including a sexual offender’s clearance certificate.

Proven educational leadership or management experience.
