Programme Overview

The Moses Kotane Research Institute (MKRI) is recruiting 600 unemployed graduates to participate in its Research Data Collection Programme 2025. This initiative offers graduates valuable work experience while contributing to important research projects across KwaZulu-Natal.

Minimum Requirements

South African citizen, aged 18–35 years
NQF Level 6–8 qualification in any field
Valid driver’s license
Computer literacy
Own working smartphone
Proficiency in English and IsiZulu

Advantageous

NQF Level 8 qualification
Prior data collection experience
Ability to drive independently
Familiarity with digital data collection tools

Key Responsibilities

Collect field data in assigned district municipalities
Administer surveys and questionnaires
Record and capture accurate data (paper-based or digital)
Verify and cross-check collected information
Follow ethical standards and research protocols
Provide progress updates to supervisors
Represent MKRI professionally in communities
