TVET PLACEMENT PROGRAMME (Internship) 2026 – 2028
Closing Date: 03 November 2025

Target: South African unemployed learners currently studying for a higher education qualification at a TVET institution.
Duration: 24 months work experience placement.
Purpose: To fulfill qualification requirements through practical work experience.
Once-off opportunity: Previous participants are not eligible to apply.
Encouragement: People with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Must be a South African citizen.
Must have no criminal convictions or pending cases.
Must be unemployed.
Must have never participated in the TVET placement programme before.
Must reside in the province where the placement is advertised.
Must submit a recently completed Z83 form (new form since Jan 2021), downloadable from:
DPSA Website
Submit a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Apply to only one centre/location — multiple applications lead to disqualification.
