About the Role

Mustek Limited is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join its Huawei Enterprise Division in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will assist in growing Huawei Enterprise business across various markets by designing client solutions, supporting tender processes, and providing outstanding internal and external customer service.


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Product & Sales Support

  • Grow the business in the specified African Countries portfolio.

  • Design client-specific Huawei solutions.

  • Assist with tenders, demos, and Proof of Concepts (POC).

  • Manage credits and rebates through accurate client documentation.

  • Monitor deliveries and ensure quality service to clients.

  • Maintain updated sales pipeline documentation.

  • Provide feedback on back orders and quotes.

  • Conduct internal and external Huawei Enterprise product training.

  • Promote partner incentives and ensure upskilling through Huawei certifications.

  • Regional travel and after-hours support when required.

🔹 Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships.

  • Handle queries and provide excellent customer support.

  • Conduct follow-ups and courtesy calls on quotes and clients.

  • Promote Huawei specials and products to customers.

  • Provide regular customer visit feedback.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Tertiary commerce qualification (advantageous)

  • Huawei product pre-sales and sales certification (relevant to role)

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the IT distribution or vendor channel


Skills and Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and networking abilities

  • Excellent project management and marketing knowledge

  • Customer relations and conflict management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to influence, persuade, and build relationships
