About the Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will manage end-to-end accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight across multiple entities. Collaborate closely with finance leadership and operations teams to translate financial data into smarter business decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full accounting function up to trial balance.

Prepare monthly management reports with analysis and variance commentary.

Oversee reconciliations (bank, debtors, creditors, intercompany).

Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.

Review and post journals, accruals, and adjustments.

Drive process improvements and efficient financial systems.

Partner with operations for financial alignment and cost control.

Ensure VAT, tax, and statutory compliance.
Requirements

Qualification: BCom Accounting (CIMA advantageous)

Experience: 4–6 years in logistics or supply chain finance

Systems: Advanced Excel; ERP systems (SAP or similar)

Skills: Analytical, deadline-driven, detail-focused, commercially aware, excellent communicator, proactive problem-solver
