About the Role
Optimi Holdings is seeking a passionate and experienced FET Phase Educator to teach Mathematics and Physical Sciences in a modern online school environment. You’ll empower learners, deliver high-quality digital lessons, and contribute to their success in the FET Phase, including Grade 12.
Requirements

BEd Degree or PGCE in Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

5+ years teaching experience in the FET Phase, including at least 3 years with Grade 12 learners.

Experience with online teaching is highly advantageous.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and digital learning tools.

Strong command of English and Afrikaans.

Confident with virtual learning environments and digital teaching platforms.
Key Duties
-
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging online lessons aligned with CAPS curriculum.

Monitor learner progress and provide academic interventions as needed.

Conduct extra classes, masterclasses, and virtual sessions for learners and guardians.

Mark and moderate assessments, SBA components, and provide constructive feedback.

Track learner performance, maintain records, and report progress.

Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Research and implement innovative teaching strategies and educational technologies.

Ensure clear and effective communication with learners, parents, and internal teams.
