🎯 Purpose of the Job
Develop your retail management skills through hands-on training in the Checkers way. Support the store Management Team while learning operational and leadership responsibilities to prepare for a future managerial role.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Engage in structured training to learn store operations, team management, and customer engagement

Support daily store functions including opening/closing, cash handling, and stock management

Assist with recruitment, training, and development of team members

Participate in inventory management and merchandising strategies
-
Address customer inquiries and complaints to ensure satisfaction

Analyse sales reports to identify opportunities for improvement

Support visual merchandising and maintain appealing product displays

Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory compliance
🧠 Qualifications & Experience

Essential: Grade 12/Matric

Advantageous: Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or related field

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Demonstrated interest in a retail management career
