Job Description:
ADvTECH, Africa’s leading provider of private education, is seeking a Robotics and EdTech Teacher to join The Bridge School in Lonehill. The successful candidate will deliver future-focused education, inspiring and equipping learners with digital skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking within the Intersen Phase.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and extend students’ foundational knowledge while developing abstract and independent thinking

  • Deliver engaging and future-focused lessons in Robotics and Educational Technology

  • Motivate, inspire, and challenge students to reach their potential

  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and collaboration

  • Build positive partnerships with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully within the learning environment

Key Performance Areas:

  • Academic delivery and assessment

  • Reporting and administration

  • Student behaviour management

  • School brand ambassadorship

  • Health and safety compliance

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6) with PGCE or B.Ed (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase)

  • SACE registration and valid police clearance

  • 2–5 years teaching experience

  • Strong computer and digital literacy (Robotics/EdTech experience advantageous)

  • First Aid certification
