Position Overview
Hilton College’s History Department seeks a dynamic, passionate teacher to join the team from the beginning of 2026. The role involves fostering enthusiasm for History, maintaining high academic standards, and contributing to co-curricular and pastoral care programmes.
Key Responsibilities

Promote interest and excellence in History among students.

Maintain a high standard of pupil achievement in the subject.

Support the high profile of History within the College.

Contribute positively to co-curricular activities and pastoral care.
Qualifications & Experience

Suitable academic qualification in History.

Registration with SACE required.

History teaching experience in GETC and FET phases is advantageous.

Knowledge of the National Curriculum preferred.

Police Clearance, Sexual Offenders, and Child Protection certificates required.
