Requirements:

A suitable professional qualification and a SACE Registration Certificate

Ability to lead and grow the science department within the academic programme of the school

Ability to integrate science into the school’s INTEGR8 programme
-
Excellent communication skills
-
A commitment to promoting a high standard of teaching and learning

A sound and progressive understanding of the South African curriculum and international trends in education
-
Good organisational and administrative skills
-
The ability to foster and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders

A willingness to participate in the broader life of the school

Clearance certificate in terms of the Sexual Offences Act
The Following Competencies Will Be Advantageous:

An ability to coach boys’ sports

Competence in additional teaching areas other than Science
