ABOUT THE ROLE:
Roedean School is seeking a Locum Teacher for Afrikaans First Additional Language to join their Senior School team in Term 1 of 2026. This position will be effective from January to April 2026.
REQUIREMENTS:

Passion for Teaching: A strong passion for teaching Afrikaans and enhancing the curriculum.

Teamwork: Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with innovative teachers.

Experience: A proven track record of administrative and interpersonal skills within the department.

Tech-Savvy: Competent computer skills with a willingness to incorporate technology into teaching.

Diverse Learning Needs: Ability to facilitate classes with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

Appropriate academic qualifications and SACE Registration Certificate.

Understanding of the Christian Ethos and values of the school.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver high-quality Afrikaans First Additional Language lessons.

Work collaboratively with the department and the school community.

Use innovative teaching methodologies, including the integration of technology.

Contribute to the development and improvement of the curriculum.
