Position Summary
Rainbow Chicken is seeking a dynamic IT Executive to lead the transformation of IT investments and operations, supporting the business transition to a real-time, data-driven organisation. This role involves managing the move from a shared IT environment to an independent IT setup, driving innovation, and aligning IT systems with business strategy.
Qualifications & Experience

3-year degree in Information Technology or Business Management (Master’s preferred).

10–12 years’ experience in IT, with at least 5 years in senior IT management.

Experience in food, beverage, or agriculture environments with deep business process understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Thought Leadership

Collaborate with Rainbow Exco and Head of Strategic Transformation to define IT Applications, Infrastructure, and Data/BI strategy.

Set strategic priorities, define KPIs, and monitor progress.
Business Alignment

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure IT initiatives enable business processes.

Engage senior stakeholders to determine IT priorities across business functions.
Project Delivery

Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.

Plan, scope, and prioritise IT components of strategic business improvement projects.
Leadership

Lead and manage the IT team, define objectives, and address performance issues.

Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Vendor Enablement

Manage relationships with key technology vendors and suppliers.

Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
IT Finance & Budgeting

Work with the CFO to manage the IT budget aligned with strategic priorities.

Monitor expenses, ensure compliance, and address variances proactively.
IT Compliance

Ensure IT initiatives comply with internal standards, legislation, and governance frameworks.

Collaborate with CFO and Financial Director on IT risk management, information security, and business continuity.

Ensure policies and procedures align with strategic business objectives.
IT Operational Governance

Oversee change management for IT initiatives.

Ensure quality assurance, configuration documentation, and regulatory compliance.
