About the Opportunity:
The Technical Apprentice Programme aims to provide access to full-time Technical/Trade-related training through the Technical Learning Academy (TLA). The initiative supports Volkswagen’s commitment to skills development within both the organisation and the broader community, in collaboration with the Union.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must:

Have Matric (Grade 12) with a pass in Core Mathematics and Physical Science (Maths Literacy not accepted)

Have an N3 qualification (4 subjects including Core Mathematics and Physical Science) or higher
Candidate Expectations:
-
Must select a 1st and 2nd choice field of training
-
Will undergo an interview and selection process
-
Must be willing to study part-time during the programme
-
May not work overtime during the programme unless authorised
-
Must adhere to all training and performance requirements

Important Notes:

Employees who have previously completed a TLA Apprenticeship or Learnership will not be considered.

Successful internal candidates will return to a vacant production position at the same level upon programme completion.
