About the Role
The ADvTECH Schools Division leads the private sector in education, contributing to sustainable human capacity development in South Africa. This role focuses on establishing and extending students’ foundational knowledge in the Intersen Phase, guiding their development, and fostering a diverse, inclusive, and future-focused learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver curriculum and teaching strategies aligned with future-focused education and Crawford Pillars

Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons using technology and innovative resources

Assess and monitor student progress using data-driven methods
-
Manage student behaviour and promote their personal, social, and emotional wellbeing
-
Serve as a school brand ambassador and participate in extra-murals, events, and marketing activities

Maintain classroom administration, health, safety, and compliance with school policies

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the broader learning community
Required Qualifications and Experience
-
Degree (NQF Level 6) and PGCE or B.Ed (Intermediate/Intersen or Senior/Foundation Phase)
-
Honours degree with specialisation preferred

IB PYP training desirable
-
Police clearance, valid SACE certificate, and valid driver’s licence required
-
Minimum 3-5 years teaching experience, plus 1 year teaching internship (at Principal’s discretion)
