St Cyprian’s School invites applications for a passionate and dynamic Preparatory/Pre-Primary School Class Music Teacher to join its vibrant Music Department from January 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to fostering a lifelong love of music in young learners within an inclusive, supportive, and creative environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging class music lessons to preparatory and pre-primary pupils.

Lead choral training and develop students’ vocal abilities.

Provide piano accompaniment for school assemblies and events.

Plan, teach, and coordinate major school functions, including Carol Services, Pre-Primary Nativity Plays, and Founders Day Services.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Music (essential).

Proven experience in piano accompaniment and choral leadership.

Experience in teaching singing, with a versatile approach across musical styles.

Familiarity with Kodály and/or Orff teaching methodologies.

Collaborative team player with a track record of inspiring and supporting colleagues and students.

SACE registration (required).
