Plan, implement, and assess instructional programs in a high school environment

Principal Accountabilities:
-
Academic Delivery (40%): Plan and deliver engaging lessons, integrate technology, and personalize learning for students

Assessment & Reporting (20%): Monitor and report student progress, provide feedback, and participate in moderation processes

Student Behaviour Management (15%): Maintain classroom discipline, mentor students, and address learning barriers
-
School Brand Ambassadorship (15%): Represent the school professionally, contribute to events, and support extracurricular programs
-
Administration (10%): Support excursions, maintain classroom resources, and adhere to school policies
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) + PGCE/HDE or B.Ed with specialization in relevant subjects
-
Valid SACE registration
-
Police clearance
-
Minimum: 3–5 years teaching experience, subject specialization
-
Desired: Familiarity with IB curriculum, enquiry-based learning, IEB experience, matric marking, First Aid
