REQUIREMENTS:

ABET Certificate (higher qualifications advantageous)

Preference for candidates with relevant work experience in similar environments

Knowledge of gardening equipment and appliances, general grounds maintenance, and lawn care processes

Basic understanding of maintenance practices for safe and efficient upkeep of government water infrastructure and related facilities
DUTIES:
-
Perform general maintenance tasks, including:
-
Weed control, gardening, painting
-
Maintenance of fire breaks and herbicide application
-

Conduct routine inspections of departmental infrastructure
-
Maintain government water infrastructure and associated facilities (canals, pipelines, dams, servitudes, terrain, buildings)
-
Report faults, defects, and safety hazards to supervisors promptly
-
Load and off-load equipment
-
Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and related regulations
-
Assist with other general duties as requested
