🎯 Role Purpose
The Artisan Diesel Mechanic UG is responsible for:

Maintaining and repairing the diesel fleet and TMM (Trackless Mobile Machinery)

Managing mechanical issues and performing routine inspections
-
Ensuring safety, productivity, and adherence to repair procedures
-
Keeping accurate records and maintaining a clean, organized work environment
✅ Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) / NQF Level 4
-
Relevant Trade Certificate
-
First Aid Certificate
-
Driver’s License
-
Minimum 4 years’ experience with TMM in a mining environment
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair diesel-powered equipment and machinery
-
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
-
Replace, test, and check equipment according to procedures
-
Ensure tools and equipment are safe and serviceable
-
Keep the workplace clean and adhere to international standards
-
Complete all associated paperwork and reports
-
Minimize equipment downtime to maximize productivity
