Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Monitor financial transactions and reconcile bank accounts

  • Maintain and oversee asset registers

  • Assist with budgeting and expenditure oversight

  • Prepare month-end and year-end journals and reconciliations

  • Compile annual audit files and liaise with the Business Manager

  • Manage general financial administration

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management accounts

  • Produce reports up to Income Statement and Balance Sheet level

  • Participate in monthly finance meetings with the Business Manager


Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary financial qualification

  • Minimum 3 years’ financial management experience (school or non-profit preferred)

  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail

  • Energetic, self-motivated, able to work under pressure

  • Collaborative team player willing to contribute to broader school life
