Position Overview:
Maris Stella School is inviting applications for a Business Studies and Economic & Management Sciences Teacher for high school students. The ideal candidate will be qualified, experienced, and passionate about inspiring young learners in these subjects while working as part of a collaborative teaching team. The position involves teaching in the FET Phase with a preference for candidates with experience in the IEB curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Business Studies and Economic & Management Sciences in the high school (FET Phase).

Inspire and engage students in these subjects to ensure a deep understanding and enthusiasm for learning.

Contribute to the wider school community through participation in the extramural programme and school activities.

Work collaboratively as part of a high-performing teaching team.

Uphold and model the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
Requirements:

Suitable academic and professional qualifications in Business Studies or Economic & Management Sciences.

At least 5 years of teaching experience in the FET phase, with preference given to those with IEB experience.

A passion for teaching and inspiring young people in the subjects of Business Studies and Economic & Management Sciences.

Commitment to working within the Catholic ethos of the school.

SACE registration (South African Council for Educators).
