Qualifications & Requirements:

Appropriate qualification in Human Resources Management

Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR, ideally in education

Strong knowledge of:

Recruitment practices

Remuneration and payroll

Labour laws and compliance standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work confidentially, ethically, and collaboratively

Conversational isiZulu or Afrikaans is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR leadership and guidance for the school
-
Recruitment and onboarding of staff
-
Compliance with labour laws and regulations
-
Maintain accurate staff files, contracts, and audit-ready documentation
-
Employee relations and wellbeing, including grievances and disciplinary procedures
-
HR administration, payroll, and journal processing (VIP system)
-
HR reporting and policy adherence
-
Support and uphold the Christian ethos and values of the school
-
Work independently and flexibly, including outside normal office hours when required
