Position Overview:
The Bay Academy invites suitably qualified and experienced educators to apply for the position of English FET and Senior Phase Drama Teacher. Recent retirees are also welcome to apply.

Requirements:

FET English Home Language qualification.

SACE registration.

Recent experience teaching English Home Language (NSC) to Grade 12.

Proven track record of academic excellence and learner success.

Ability to design engaging, relevant, and challenging learning experiences.

Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of English Home Language in line with the CAPS curriculum.

Inspire a love for reading, writing, and speech.

Prepare learners for excellence in Grade 12 NSC examinations.

Build departmental resources, structures, and culture from the ground up.

Collaborate with colleagues to align teaching strategies with the school’s pathways vision.
