Role Overview
The Creative Arts Teacher (Grades 4–7) will design and deliver engaging lessons that develop learners’ creative expression and artistic skills, while supporting their broader academic growth. The educator will nurture imagination, confidence, and independent thinking across music, drama, visual arts, and related creative disciplines.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver dynamic, student-centered Creative Arts lessons that inspire curiosity and creativity.

Guide learners in developing both practical and theoretical understanding of the arts.

Assess, report, and monitor academic progress in accordance with the school’s standards.

Uphold high behavioural and academic expectations in a supportive manner.

Act as a positive ambassador of the Pinnacle College and ADvTECH brands.

Maintain administrative records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Foster constructive partnerships with parents, guardians, and the wider school community.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Education (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase) OR relevant undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6) plus a PGCE.

SACE registration and police clearance (mandatory).

2–5 years of classroom teaching experience, preferably in Creative Arts or related fields.

Computer and digital literacy essential.

Valid First Aid certification advantageous.
