Role Overview
Curro Holdings seeks a dynamic and forward-thinking Executive Head for its Meridian Cosmo City campus in Roodepoort.
The successful candidate will oversee the strategic and operational management of three schools on campus — preschool, primary, and high school — ensuring academic excellence, financial sustainability, and effective leadership in alignment with the Curro ethos.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a 10-year strategic plan and annual business plan for the campus.

Manage the annual budget and ensure alignment with EBITDA targets.

Oversee curriculum planning and implementation across all learning phases.

Manage and represent the campus to internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies.

Oversee health, safety, and security on campus.

Compile, submit, and analyse academic and operational reports.

Mentor, develop, and manage staff to maintain professional excellence.

Drive marketing, brand visibility, and social responsibility initiatives.

Oversee school facilities, including maintenance and new developments.

Provide pastoral care and manage disciplinary procedures for both staff and learners.

Plan, coordinate, and attend key school events and community functions.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Honours degree in Education (specialising in Leadership and Management) or equivalent qualification.

3–5 years’ experience as a Head or senior leader of a primary or high school (experience managing a multi-phase campus advantageous).

In-depth knowledge of CAPS and IEB curricula.

Proven leadership, management, and business acumen.

Strong ability to lead and mentor young educators.

Excellent communication, organisational, and planning skills.

Ability to work extended hours and engage fully in school life.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

SACE registration and clear criminal record are mandatory.
