The Opportunity
The school invites applications for a Senior Mathematics Teacher in the High School. This role requires a passionate educator with strong subject knowledge, proven classroom experience at matric level, and a commitment to innovative and holistic education.
Key Competencies and Responsibilities

A recognised degree and/or a 4-year professional teaching qualification with Mathematics as a specialisation
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience teaching Mathematics at matric level
-
SACE registration (proof required)
-
A passion and vision for Mathematics education
-
Understanding of international trends and 21st-century learning
-
Experience with the IEB curriculum (advantageous)

Experience teaching Further Studies (FS) Mathematics to matric level (advantageous)

Strong planning, organisational, administrative, and reporting skills
-
Ability to create inclusive, collaborative classroom communities

Reflective teaching practice and openness to feedback

Innovative approach to learning programme and assessment design

Interest in cross-curricular and interdisciplinary learning

Proficiency in educational technology and Hybrid Learning (Microsoft 365 experience/certification advantageous)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently

Commitment to the wider school life and co-curricular involvement
