About the Bursary Programme
The Premier’s Discretionary Bursary Fund is an initiative by the Mpumalanga Provincial Government to provide financial support to academically deserving students who have the potential to succeed but lack the financial means to pursue further education. The bursary aims to empower youth, promote skills development, and contribute to the province’s workforce and economic growth.
Who Can Apply?
Applications are open to:

Learners currently in Matric (Grade 12).

Matric graduates who have not yet enrolled at a tertiary institution.

Students currently studying at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
Required Documents
Applicants must attach the following supporting documents:

Application letter (clearly stating motivation and chosen field of study).

Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Certified copies of academic qualifications and achievements.

Certified copy of your South African ID.

Proof of registration at a recognized tertiary institution (if applicable).

Proof of residence.
-
Certified copy of death certificate(s) (if applicable).

Proof of financial income of parent(s) or legal guardian(s) (if applicable).
