Programme Details:
The eThekwini Municipality invites applications from suitably qualified and motivated unemployed youth to participate in the Artisan Development Programme in the trade of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration.
This structured apprenticeship programme will run for a period of up to three years, combining on-site practical training and theoretical instruction at an accredited training institution. Upon completion, participants will undergo a formal trade test to qualify as an Artisan in the trade.

Eligibility Requirements:

N2 certificate including the relevant trade theory subject; or

Technical/Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science/Engineering Science and related trade theory subject; or
-
Relevant N6 certificate or National Technical Diploma (S or N stream)

Must be an eThekwini resident (proof of residence required)

Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID

Must be unemployed

Must be between 18 – 30 years old

Must show passion and interest in the trade field

Must not have participated in a similar apprenticeship programme before
