About the Organisation
The Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator (OPFA) is a statutory body established under Section 30B of the Pension Funds Act, 24 of 1956. The OPFA’s mission is to resolve pension fund complaints fairly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
The ICT Intern will assist with a variety of operational and support tasks, including:

Troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and applications
-
Logging and classifying ICT incidents and service requests
-
Providing ICT support and escalating complex issues
-
Assisting in documenting ICT changes and releases
-
Maintaining ICT documentation (both electronic and hard copy)
-
Supporting ICT project coordination and administrative tasks
-
Assisting with ICT audits, risk register updates, and asset register maintenance
-
Managing ICT-related records such as contracts, warranties, and budgets
-
Preparing monthly ICT operational reports
-
Engaging with service providers and suppliers
-
Performing other ICT-related duties as directed by supervisors
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, candidates must meet the following:

NQF Level 7 qualification (Degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Strong communication and organisational skills
-
Ability to analyse data, solve problems, and apply ICT concepts effectively
