The Opportunity

The PE Coach role focuses on inspiring students to love movement and sport, developing physical skills, teamwork, and character through creative, inclusive, and engaging lessons and activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Recognised 4-year teaching qualification (BEd in PE or Human Movement) OR relevant degree + PGCE

  • SACE registration (or proof of application)

  • First Aid Level 1 (minimum)

  • 3+ years experience teaching or coaching PE/sport in schools

  • Coaching certifications in one or more sports (advantageous)

  • Strong understanding of child development, safety, and inclusive practices

  • Competent in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace


Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons and sports programmes

  • Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles

  • Ensure student safety during lessons and sporting activities

  • Model professional behaviour and Christian values

  • Participate in school events and contribute to extra-curricular activities
