Position Overview
The Natural Science teacher will teach learners in the Intersen phase, supporting their development from foundational skills toward independent, abstract thought. The role requires a future-focused approach to education, strong professional integrity, and the ability to engage collaboratively with students, colleagues, and the broader school community.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery:

Deliver engaging and future-focused Natural Science lessons

Support learners’ academic growth and conceptual understanding
Assessment & Reporting:

Design and implement assessments aligned with curriculum requirements

Maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback
Student Behaviour Management:
-
Promote positive learning behaviours and support student well-being
School Brand Ambassadorship:

Represent the school professionally to students, parents, and the wider community
Administration & Health & Safety:

Complete administrative tasks accurately and punctually

Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
Collaboration:

Work constructively with colleagues, parents, and the community

Communicate in a positive, respectful, and open-minded manner
Qualifications & Experience
-
Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6) with PGCE or B.Ed (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase)
-
SACE registration and police clearance
-
2–5 years teaching experience

Computer and digital literacy

First Aid qualification
