About the Role
Pridwin Preparatory School, known for its high musical standards and dynamic Music Department, invites applications for the position of Peripatetic Woodwind Teacher (Saxophone & Clarinet) to begin in January 2026.
The successful candidate will take over a well-established cohort of saxophone and clarinet pupils, teaching lessons during the mornings and early afternoons.
Requirements
Applicants should:

Hold a relevant music degree with experience teaching both saxophone and clarinet to students of various ages.

Have experience preparing students for Trinity Music Exams (digital and face-to-face).

Be skilled in conducting ensembles of varying levels.
-
Demonstrate excellent administrative and communication skills.
-
Be able to interact positively with parents.

Be computer literate and familiar with the Google Education Suite.

Be willing to uphold the ethos and traditions of Pridwin Preparatory School.

Be willing to apply for Child Protection Act and Sexual Offences Register clearance.
Advantages (Beneficial Skills)

Ability to play piano and accompany students.

Ability to teach additional instruments.

Experience in preparing students for Trinity or ABRSM Music Theory Exams.
