Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning:

Deliver engaging Afrikaans lessons to students in the College phase.

Develop and implement lesson plans in alignment with the school’s curriculum.

Foster a dynamic and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation.

Curriculum & Assessment:

Evaluate and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Prepare students for examinations and assessments.

Ensure a high standard of academic achievement in Afrikaans language skills.

Collaboration & Communication:

Collaborate with fellow educators, parents, and students to support academic and personal development.

Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

A relevant degree or teaching qualification in Afrikaans.

SACE registration.

Experience:

Proven experience in teaching Afrikaans at the high school or College level.

Experience in planning and delivering lessons, managing classrooms, and assessing student progress.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
