Job Summary:
The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary is responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of patients or groups of patients, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in line with hospital standards and policies. The position involves providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, managing stock, and identifying potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients under supervision.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.

Ensure all care programs meet the required health standards and legislation.

Manage and control nursing stock effectively.

Report potential or actual risks to the appropriate authorities.

Maintain a professional and accountable nursing practice.
Requirements:

Registration: Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary.

Compliance: Adherence to the SANC code and applicable healthcare legislation.
Experience:

Work Experience:
-
1 – 5 years of working experience in the same or similar position in a healthcare setting.

Experience in private healthcare or the healthcare funding industry is advantageous.

Skills and Knowledge:

Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Ability to implement and maintain nursing standards in line with accredited bodies and healthcare legislation.

Computer Literacy is essential.

Solid knowledge of nursing standards and best practices.
