You will be responsible for building a customer-focused, profitable seasonal product strategy that aligns with the department’s goals and brand vision. This includes overseeing the entire product journey—from concept to in-store execution—ensuring that ranges are trend-appropriate, commercially viable, and customer-centric.


Job Description

Develop and Execute a Seasonal Plan

  • Collaborate with Planning, Design, and Sourcing teams to build a strategic product, fabric, and trading plan

  • Use trend insights, customer analytics, and competitor intelligence to guide product direction

  • Present seasonal product plans highlighting key strategic opportunities

Build a Profitable, Balanced Range

  • Create a trend-relevant, customer-aligned product range

  • Work with Design on styling, fabric, and colour choices

  • Ensure products meet price architecture and merchandise timelines

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sourcing on product development, supplier selection, costings, and technical requirements

  • Work with Technical Product Development to align samples, product reviews, and presentations with critical path milestones

Customer Understanding & Competitive Intelligence

  • Collaborate with Marketing to gain customer insights through analytics and reviews

  • Conduct market and trend research to ensure competitive and differentiated product offerings


Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Fashion, Textile Design/Product Development, Merchandising, or related field

  • 4–6 years’ relevant buying experience

  • Homeware buying experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of materials, fabrics, and product development

  • Passion for homeware trends

  • Ability to interpret trends and conceptualise products

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, PLM

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Understanding of buying processes, retail market, and industry trends

  • Knowledge of markdowns, markups, sell-through, and pricing strategies
