Eligibility Criteria
-
Citizenship: South African citizen.

Residency: Must reside within Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality.

Age: 18–35 years old.
-
Matric Learners: Must meet minimum entry requirements for university or university of technology, OR current 1st, 2nd, or final-year students.

Financial Need: Must be historically disadvantaged and financially in need.

Bursary Limitations: Cannot be receiving another bursary or student loan.

Academic Requirements:

For Science/Engineering fields: Mathematics & Physical Science Level 5 (60%) or above.
-
For other fields: 60% overall average in Matric or current academic year.

Proof of University/University of Technology acceptance for 2026.

Certified copy of ID document.

Affidavit confirming parent/guardian income or social/pension grant.

Certified Grade 12 results.
-
Full academic record (if already studying).

Proof of residence within Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality.
