About the Role:

St Charles College, a prestigious all-boys school, is looking for a Prep Sports Programme Coordinator to join their team. The role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the school’s sports programme, providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth delivery of sports fixtures, activities, and events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Fixture Scheduling & Transport: Assist with scheduling sports fixtures, creating team lists, and arranging transport.

  • Communication: Manage communication with parents, staff, and other schools regarding fixtures and sporting activities.

  • Event Logistics: Support the organization of tours, festivals, and sports events, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Sports Records & Data Management: Maintain accurate sports records, databases, and team sheets.

  • Calendars & Results Tracking: Help with managing termly sports calendars, tracking results, and updating noticeboards.

  • Inventory & Equipment: Assist with ordering and managing sports uniforms and equipment.

  • Sports Staff Management: Help with sport staff contracts, registers, and payments.

  • Supervision: Oversee students when required, ensuring their safety and discipline.

  • Collaboration: Liaise with the Head of Prep Sport and other sports staff on a daily basis.

  • Representing the School: Serve as a positive representative of the school at sporting events.

  • Values Alignment: Work within the Christian values and mission of St Charles College.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualification: A relevant tertiary qualification.

  • Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of experience in administration, preferably in a school or sports-related setting.

  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required.

  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Approachable & Calm Under Pressure: Able to maintain composure and be approachable in a busy environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Team Player: Enjoys collaborating with children and sports staff, with a positive and proactive attitude.

  • Initiative: Capable of anticipating needs and taking initiative without constant supervision.
