A vacancy has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Visual Arts / Art & Design teacher to join the full-time staff, teaching students from Grade 8 to 12 (Foundation Phase – AS2).

Essential Requirements

Appropriate university degree / professional teaching qualification.

SACE registration.
-
Clear criminal and sexual offences record.

Strong knowledge of Cambridge International Examinations and IEB curriculum and assessment. (Experience in both is advantageous.)

Willingness to lead and innovate in curriculum delivery.

Minimum 5 years’ teaching experience in the subject.

Experience teaching Drama and Music is an advantage.

English first language or fluency in English.

Passion for teaching and ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in students.

Creative, innovative, organised, and motivated in subject delivery.

Computer literate and comfortable with 21st-century teaching methodologies.

Willing and able to contribute to the school’s sports and co-curricular programme.

Strong interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.

Ability to work effectively and energetically within a dynamic school environment.

Self-motivated, proactive, responsible, and able to show initiative.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Prior experience in a similar school environment.

Alignment with the school’s ethos and values.

Ability to work outside normal school hours when required.
