About the Armscor Bursary Programme
Armscor invites South African unemployed learners to apply for the Armscor External Bursary Programme 2026, aimed at supporting exceptional students pursuing studies in science and engineering fields. The bursary supports full-time studies in critical skills needed in the Defence industry, especially Engineering, Science, and Technology disciplines.

What the Bursary Covers
The Armscor bursary provides comprehensive financial support, including:

Vacation work (where possible)
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
-
Be South African citizens
-
Come from a financially needy background (household income ≤ R1 000 000 per year)
-
Be interested in a career in the Defence industry
-
Achieve Level 5, 6, or 7 in Mathematics, Physical Science, and English
-
Be studying or intending to study in an approved field
-
Be enrolled at a recognised public tertiary institution
-
Demonstrate excellent academic performance
