Description

Amazon is seeking an analytical, motivated, and forward-thinking Finance Intern. This internship offers exposure to diverse teams across multiple countries while contributing to impactful finance and data analysis projects that support Amazon’s customer-focused operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, global environment and serves as a strong introduction to financial analysis within an operational context.


About the Internship

During the 12-month internship, you may join one of the following teams:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Finance & Controlling

  • Operations Finance

  • Transportation Finance

  • Infrastructure Finance

You will work on an impactful finance project, apply analytical skills, support cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives, and assist with reporting, forecasting, and KPI dashboard development. You will also engage in automation and accuracy improvement of financial tools and processes.

Interns participate in development programs, networking events, and mentorship. Successful interns may be considered for graduate roles after completing their studies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a 2026 graduation date, or a recent graduate (within 6 months)

  • Studying Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Team-oriented and comfortable in an international environment

  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Data visualization tools: Tableau, QlikView, PowerPivot, MicroStrategy

  • Knowledge of Oracle, VBA, MySQL/SQL

  • Strong attention to detail and data-mining capability

  • Experience in financial reporting, planning, or root-cause analysis
