Job Overview
St Stithians College invites applications for the position of Tennis Head Coach and Programme Coordinator, a leadership role responsible for driving tennis strategy, development, performance, and programme excellence across the College.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement an Integrated Tennis Strategic Plan aligned with College strategy
-
Lead and coordinate tennis programmes, tournaments, and festivals across all campuses
-
Oversee coaching development and mentor coaching staff
-
Manage equipment, budgets, inventory, and operational compliance
-
Build strong relationships with parents, alumni, and external partners
-
Collaborate with College Communications to enhance tennis visibility and supporter experience
-
Drive recruitment and developmental initiatives for youth and high-performance tennis pathways
-
Coach College tennis teams and manage trials, practice plans, and player development across age groups
Requirements
-
Level 1 Tennis Coaching Qualification or equivalent (advantageous)

Relevant qualifications plus 5–8 years’ tennis coaching experience

Good standing with Tennis South Africa (TSA) and current updated TSA qualifications

Proven leadership in managing a significant tennis programme
-
Youth programme development experience; university or professional playing experience advantageous

Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
-
Ability to work with diverse teams and a commitment to inclusion

NRSO clearance or valid police clearance
-
Understanding and adherence to St Stithians College policies and regulations
