Parklands College is seeking a dynamic and passionate Drama / Music Educator for the Foundation Phase, starting 1 January 2026. The role involves inspiring young learners (ages 3-9) by incorporating drama and music into the daily programme. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children and the ability to teach and engage them in creative expression.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach drama and music to young learners in a way that fosters creativity and an appreciation for the arts.

Deliver engaging group lessons, including teaching a musical instrument (e.g., recorder/flute) to children aged 4-9.

Assist with school performances, productions, and choir.

Work in an energetic, dynamic, and vibrant teaching environment.

Use Google Workspace and Apple technology to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:

Full SACE registration.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Drama/Music.

Competency in teaching a musical instrument, particularly recorder/flute.

Experience delivering engaging group lessons to young children (ages 3-9).

Ability to assist with performances and productions.

Police clearance certificate.
-
Child Protection Register clearance.
-
National Sexual Offenders Register clearance (or proof of receipt of application).
