Parklands College is seeking a passionate Drama / Music Educator for the Foundation Phase to foster an interest in culture and integrate drama and music into the daily programme. The successful candidate will work with young learners, including Pre-Primary students, to inspire creativity and artistic expression through music and drama.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach drama and music to young children aged 3-9 years.

Be competent in teaching a musical instrument (such as recorder or flute) to children.

Deliver engaging group lessons that stimulate artistic and cultural development.

Assist with school performances, productions, and choir.

Work in an energetic, dynamic, and vibrant environment.

Use Google Workspace and Apple technology (an advantage).
Requirements:

Full SACE registration.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in Drama/Music.

Experience teaching a musical instrument to young children (ages 4-9).

Ability to deliver engaging group lessons for children aged 3-9.

Ability to assist with performances and productions.

Police clearance certificate.
-
Child Protection Register clearance.
-
National Sexual Offenders Register clearance (or proof of application).

Competency with Google Workspace and Apple technology is advantageous.

South African Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
