🎯 Job Purpose
The Lecturer – ICT will:
- Deliver lectures and facilitate learning
- Support students academically
- Contribute to research and development
- Assist in academic programme development
- Support Academic Development Consultants
📝 Key Responsibilities
📚 Teaching & Learning
- Deliver ICT lectures and tutorials
- Facilitate student support workshops
- Prepare, assess, and mark student work
- Ensure academic standards are maintained
🎓 Academic Support
- Assist in developing teaching and learning capacity
- Work with librarians to improve information literacy
- Support academic staff and contract lecturers
🗂️ Coordination & Engagement
- Coordinate lecturer forums and faculty meetings
- Participate in academic planning and activities
- Assist with student consultations
🔬 Research & Development
- Contribute to academic research initiatives
- Support development of ICT programmes
🎓 Minimum Requirements
📖 Qualifications
- Honours Degree in Software Development (NQF Level 8)
🧑🏫 Experience
- 2–3 years lecturing or tutoring experience
- 1–3 years industry experience (advantageous)

- Strong understanding of higher education systems in South Africa
- Knowledge of teaching and learning methodologies
- Ability to support and guide students
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 – 17:00 (based on teaching schedule)
