Programme Overview

eThekwini Municipality invites applications for its Graduate and Work Integrated Learning Internship Programme for the 2025/2026 cycle. The initiative provides graduates with no prior work experience the opportunity to gain 18 to 24 months of practical workplace exposure in the Health Sciences field.


Qualifications Considered

Applicants must be studying or have completed qualifications in:

  • Environmental Health

  • Enrolled Nursing / Nursing Science

Note: N6 TVET students applying for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for Nated Diploma recognition are welcome to apply.


✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens

  • Possess a recognized qualification or N6 certificate

  • Have graduated within the last 5 years

  • Not have participated in any work experience, internship, WIL, or in-service training programmes (12 months or more)

  • Reapply if previously applied and not selected

Stipend

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of:
R2,661.68 to R8,093.01
