Job Purpose

To act as a key liaison between customers and PPC, driving Ready-Mix concrete sales through proactive client engagement, sales solutions, and after-sales service. The role supports customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and consistent service quality.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics

  • 5+ years of sales experience

  • National Diploma, BCom, or BA (or currently studying) is advantageous

  • Experience in the Construction or Ready-Mix industry

  • Strong computer literacy

  • Solid understanding of sales and marketing techniques

  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills

  • Must be a team player with dedication and a professional attitude

  • Code B driver’s licence


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute sales strategies to meet business targets

  • Apply best practices in customer service and relationship building

  • Monitor pricing in line with the approved pricing matrix

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for long-term growth

  • Track and report on weekly and monthly sales performance

  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders through clear communication and collaboration

  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally

  • Facilitate quotations in collaboration with the sales team, adhering to governance processes

  • Co-ordinate value-added services (e.g. pump services, special mix requirements) in conjunction with the quality department

  • Monitor debtor controls and adhere to credit policies

  • Ensure selling prices align with budget expectations
