🔧 Responsibilities

Ensure uptime, maintenance, and updates of servers and network devices (e.g. WAPs, switches)
-
Manage fibre and cable connections to classrooms and hardware
-
Oversee firewall systems: user management, network security, VLANs
-
Administer Windows Domain Controllers: DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, File Permissions, Active Directory
-
Conduct daily backup checks and maintain NAS systems
-
Provide 2nd-line IT support for staff and students
-
Maintain and update Microsoft 365 accounts, groups, and SharePoint access
-
Oversee Azure AD sync between cloud and on-premise systems
-
Monitor systems using Zabbix and update monitored devices
-
Support the school’s admin system: setup, updates, user management
-
Generate and support school reports through the admin system
-
Assist with WebUntis and other communication systems
-
Manage Airtable setups and print management systems
-
Handle data maintenance and management tasks
-
Oversee IT procurement, licensing, and budget planning
-
Update and maintain iPads
-
Support the telephone and staff clocking systems
-
Maintain classroom teaching tech (projectors, sound, boards, etc.)
-
Manage CCTV systems and video recovery processes
-
Keep IT records and the Asset Register up to date
-
Personnel management of the IT Department
-
Maintain the school homepage
-
Complete additional tasks as assigned by school leadership
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
-
Proven experience in systems/network administration & IT support
-
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure
-
Experience with school admin/reporting systems is a plus
-
Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, switches, network hardware
-
Familiarity with Zabbix, Airtable, and print tools is an advantage
-
Excellent troubleshooting and solution-oriented approach

Organized with strong documentation skills
-
Able to work independently and collaboratively
